RJBennet Business Consultancy is based in Christchurch, Dorset. Services include business and management development for small and medium sized businesses. After graduating in Chemistry from Bristol University I have worked in industry for 35 years. My career path took me up through technical sales to become Sales Director of an International manufacturer of safety products, before I joined my Fathers’ manufacturing company in 1989.
I started Groveley Detection in 1991 to supply gas detection products to the Oil & Gas Industries. The business grew steadily and as planned, we became a market leading Company designing, manufacturing and selling our own gas detection products across the globe. We had become the World Leader in the area of Ultrasonic Gas Leak Detection, before the company was sold to a large USA global manufacturing and technology company in 2013.
